    Before her bobsleigh career took off, Nikki competed to a high level in Athletics. She began athletics after joining Waddesdon C of E secondary school, then going on to join Marshall Milton Keynes athletics club. Welcome to Nikki McSweeney’s website – GBR Bobsleigh Brakeman


As a brakeman, Nikki represents her country as part of the Great Britain bobsleigh squad.

Competing in her first race in November 2010 Nikki has been representing her country in the Europa cup.  Coming from a sporting background she has been training as a full time athlete for a year, basing herself down at Bath University with the squad. Nikki is aiming for the Olympics in Sochi, 2014, as a competitive athlete.

This upcoming season Nikki hopes to further her driving skills at driving school, before competing on season as a brakeman on the Europa Cup circuit and hoping to make an impression on the World Cup circuit.
